Mennes finished her bachelor studies Musictheatre at Rotterdam Conservatory (NL) and performing theatre creating at Theaterkade (NL). Her debut play Madelief toured in Belgium and the Netherlands. Naakt, her second show, received the first prize at Utrechts Kleinkunst Festival. For 6 years, she performed with the close harmony group De Meisjes Loos. She assisted MT Hollands Diep/Silbersee, played at Laika collective and challenged youngsters al over Europe at House across Boundaries.
